This was a really fun commission I got to do recently where I was given the freedom to come up with something in my style and I went with the imagery of the Buddha in deep meditation, whose third eye is open symbolising his higher self and the awareness that he’s gained. This piece is about the impermanence of life and living virtuously and dedicating yourself to what is important. The heart above the Buddha symbolises life and experience, which bleeds onto the meditating Buddha, which is meant to symbolise learning from experiences to better oneself for the goal of reaching your truest potential. Doing what matters because nothing is permanent
